I discovered today that there’s a phpBB fork that was federated and a community is using the software. Looks like I’ve got another forum to join haha. It sucks that lemmybb isn’t being maintained anymore though… I had no clue someone managed to make edits to phpBB to make it federated, there’s only a few forum software that are federated. While browsing Reddit yesterday I came across a post in Reddit Alternatives for a new modern Imageboard. Everiot is a European based Imageboard but it looks like the staff uses AI moderation. I don’t think I’d join this one, I don’t really care for imageboards to begin with and if they’re using AI moderation I’m sure many posts get flagged as spam even if it’s not. What is going through your mind?
Good news, I get to keep my job! I just need to make sure I’m not late and I also need to make sure not to call in until I get some sick days. Instead of giving me a verbal warning, since I was really sick they just decided to do a coaching. Going back to the forum thing, I continuously see people bring up that they miss forums on Reddit… And ever time I see those responses I make sure to reply to each one reminding people that forums are still around.

Back when I frequented Reddit, I’d let others know, especially when people mention an interest in either anime or role playing, I’d bring up my forum. However, I think only like three people ever joined, and it was very short lived. I’m hoping now that I’ve started publishing my TTRPG system, offering something unique, that people may become interested and start spurring up some conversation, but time will tell. If you’re looking to get away from Adobe products and want a free, powerful video editor then look no further! DaVinci Resolve is the editor I use when I need to edit videos for my various accounts on different video platform sites. I use it whenever I use Windows, I use another editor on Linux. Thank you, I'm still not sure what HR is going to say. I don't know when I'm going to find out if I still get to keep my job or not. I hope you feel better soon and I definitely agree with the forum part of your post. I don't know how many times I see people talking on Reddit about how they miss forums, and every time I see those posts I immediately reply to them and mention that forums are still around.

 Twitter/X shutting down alternative front-ends with C&Ds
Aaand it seems that XCancel closed once again and the Nitter GitHub repo was archived again back in September 11. And it seems that nitter.space (the main instance I’ve been using before XCancel returned) just went down today or IDK what the heck happened as I can’t pass the Cloudflare verification. Anyway, good thing there are ones like goyimx.com which still works as I write this.

I hope everything works out for your, @Ravenfreak It’s a scary time to become unemployed. Meanwhile, I’m fighting a round of Depression. My vitamin D is probably plummeting because I’m sick (had a low-grade fever earlier today), I’ve got a giant queen sized mattress I need to dispose of and it weighs a ton, and I’m dealing with my forum being… dormant, for lack of a better term. I miss the heyday of forums being da place to hang out. I’ll eventually get over myself, I’m just struggling right now.
