What blog software you into? What do you like? Where did you discover it and how long have you used it? What are reasons for whatever that has been asked in this thread?

Joomla is my personal favorite blog software. I find it's easier to find things in the ACP compared to Wordpress.

I found Joomla confusing. But then again, I used it a long time ago when maybe I didn't know as much as I do now about web development.

I use Wordpress for my blogs. I discovered it in 2012 and build a free blog. For I did not run it for long, so I deleted the blog. Then I started using wordpress content management system for my self hosted blog in 2025.

IDK if static blog generators can also count here but my favorite ones are bashblog, BlazeBlogger (comes as a package on Debian lol) and Jekyll

I use WordPress, but I haven't really tried alternatives so I can't comment.

But WordPress is good enough for me now, based on my limited exposure.
