Widgets

You've probably noticed that I enabled one widget so far, the board stats. You can collapse the widgets if you find them distracting btw. Other options I can add are a Shoutbox, who's online, new topics, etc. Are there any specific stats you want to see in the widgets? I'm probably going to have most of them show up on one side of the index page rather than have them all over the place.

IMO less is best. Too many widgets is distracting.

Thanks for your feedback! I'll probably just stick to having the forum stats on the right side for now.

NP. More wouldn't be bad, I just don't like when I see forums with tons of them. It feels too busy. 4, 5 max is my opinion but that's just me.

It's worth noting that every member individually can always toggle the sidebar on or off. Additionally, any widgets individually can be removed/restored. So personally, I would just add what you'd like as an admin, and let members choose for themselves.

That's a good point too! I forgot all about that. Choice is always the best.

I think I mentioned that in the first post lol. But yep the option is there, thanks again for making Forum Spark the best free forum host bro!
