and PDFGear Scan are much better than Adobe and completely free.
I am trying to get my employers to make the switch

Thanks for sharing this alternative, I never knew it existed. Unfortunately lots of companies tend to go with popular platforms and programs, so it might be very difficult to get them to switch from Adobe to PDFGear.
